A fool with which tools is still a fool?

The million dollar question is which tools to take touring without braking the bank or any weight limits on the trailer?

One great heap of advice was to buy from the ,arkets rather than any major DIY store as these were emergency only tools other than ones which would go thru regular use.

So the items we purchased included:
Compact, metal toolbox with lots of drawers
G-clamp
Ball pein hammer
Bow saw
Wd-40
Stanley knife
Spirit level
Fuses
Duct tape
Grips
Electrical tape
Miscellaneous screws
Screwdrivers
Socket set (metric)
Rachet spanner
Power bar/breaker bar
Adjustable spanner
Metal file
Multi-tool
Sissors
Side cutters
Pliers
Multi-tool
Claw hammer
Fuses
Pocket-torch
Super glue
Spanner set/ring spanners
6mm wire
Misc nuts and bolts
Small tarp

One week to go before escape velocity is reached!

Hi everyone and welcome to those die-hards who are inquisitive enough to read this blog.

We're almost ready to leave home for an exciting six months traveling around Australia. The camper-trailer is waiting to have boxes of food, clothes and assorted must have items squeeze into it in a Tardis like move.

The Prado has been morphed to resemble something akin to my son's favorite transformer, costing as much as one of the recent blockbuster movies, to travel on bitumen across most of freeways around Australia... Who knows we may even try some off-road tracks!

The family home has been rented out so we have to leave...though he house is looking The best its done in a few years. We've trialled out our new home - a camper trailer - its been christened the -  Ralh Mahal :)

It will be a little sad to leave our mostly tranquil home, family and friends. It will probably take a while to get over work.. Well that didn't take too long.
