Day 126 Keep River National Park – Limestone Creek Rest Area 4th - 5th August

A day of driving on lovely bitumen roads with not a corrugation in sight - what lovely luxury! With little to do but sing-along badly to often repeated songs in the car as we ate up the miles heading to Katherine.
Car the car get any dustier?
We stopped to see Gregory's Boab Tree outside Timber Creek – a famous explorer who carved out his expedition dates on a large Boab Tree and at the same time created an early example of Australian graffiti.

We camped at a free spot for the night less than 60km from Katherine. The kids collected firewood for the evening dinner. Jordan extended his musical skills, got out the guitar, started strumming some chords and singing Blowing in the Wind.

But it looks like chillies!
