Following
a driving day where we passed through Cloncurry and enjoyed cream
buns, we managed to find a free spot 4km just outside Winton at a
billabong.

We
were pleasantly surprised by family friendly Winton, which had a
number of unique and interesting places to visit including an
excellent museum on Waltzing Matilda.

Late
in the evening, after crocodile for dinner, as I was strumming away, we were joined by a couple of
musicians – one of which had a piano accordion – so we ended
playing songs till late – a great way to finish an excellent day.
