Day 161 Carnarvon National Park – Ban Ban Springs September 6th – September 7th

The aim of today was to travel further east and get as close to the coast so that we could get to Fraser early the next day. Our car weary family spent most of the day amusing themselves as the car wound through hills and valleys heading closer to the Great Dividing Range. The kids sang along to a CD practising their multiplication tables and we explored some of the darker recesses of our playlists.

BIG Mandarin & Biggle

After three months without rain we finally encountered some showers which I'm sure the car and trailer appreciated. Hopefully, it won't rain while we're on Fraser Island.

We arrived at Ban Ban Springs as dusk settled so it was to late to explore this popular free spot. After a lamb curry the kids got out their musical instruments and played some songs which was a nice end to the day.
