We woke to an overcast day but at least it wasn't raining and ambled down to watch the early morning Dolphin feeding. The water was a little murky but all was soon forgotten with the informative talk given by the rangers during the dolphin feeding in which we saw three separate families cruise and play while waiting for their fish.

Pretty cool trick |
The weather soon turned for the best and we ended up with a great couple of days enjoying the facilities, fishing and splashing in the calm and almost warm waters.
During a visit to the hot tub we met a lovely family from around Canberra – Paul, Fiona, Grace and Abbey who had won a holiday to Monkey Mia. We ended up spending a couple of days hanging out together with the kids enjoying each others company while building forts in the sand and splashing in the sea. Paul had some great fishing tips but we weren't bale to translate that to catching much. Fiona on the other hand was a great cook and we ended up with a great feed the night before we left to continue on our journey. Yes, we had to buy the fish but it was still great!

Monkey Mia had been a pleasurable experience for all of us. We had spent three nights there and we left with good memories, new friends and recharged batteries.
