The steps to add a customised Google Map to Blogspot is straightforward.
First create or update your map with the rout you have taken.
Then click on top right hand side of the screen where you see link.
Click on customise and preview embedded map.
Select the size of map you want. As I add the map into a BlogSpot Java/HTML gadget on the right side of my blog I choose small and move the image that I want to display into view.
Cut and paste the HTML into the BlogSpot gadget using Design instead of New Post.
Trip looks great so far. Hope it hasn't been too cold for you. Last time we camped down there it was -7, so hopefully isn't that bad. Thanks for that info re map Vin. I actually found the instructions on another blog q&a. Mine has it now, but I still have a prob with sizing, but I will sort it out. Not worried much yet as I don't leave for just under 2 months. It is just up there to play with and show my current expected route. Did you see mine? http://capeyorkadventure.blogspot.com/
ReplyDeleteDid you end up going to Arkaroola? I cannot see any posting for this?
ReplyDeleteIt is correct that Google earth is very good application for traveler. It will help to see place which we want to visit and also view the way where we have to travel and help in traveling.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed reading your blog ~ thanks for posting such useful content.
