From Hobart, refreshed, reinvigorated, shaved and scented... we started our journey up the East coast of Tasmania. However, before we left Hobart we had to visit MONA to see its famous art collection.... and what a collection. Some parts were not for the childrens eyes and it was certainly weird, pretty sick and at times confronting. I used this visit to bore the kids by asking them to tell us the difference between mordern art and tradtional art. What fun!

We skimmed through Richmond, taking time for only an obligatory photo before stopping at a terrific campsite at Great Oyster Bay. The Mayfield Bay Campground, with its donation box, provided a nice spot next to the beach. After a challenging time setting up a fire and with a donation of firewood from a couple who took pity on us, we lit a roaring fire and it was time for gourmet sausages for dinner. Naturally, the kids couldn't stand them... so it meant more for me!
