Port Lincoln is a small town on the southern tip of the Eyre Peninsula, with a great foreshore. We had originally planned to drive through to Coles Bay, but a severe low pressure system was causing gale force winds with the threat of thunderstorms. To play it safe, and to have a pleasurable time on Jordan's birthday we checked into a cabin in the Port Lincoln Tourist Park rather than setting up a tent. Our two bedroom cabin was luxury when compared against the tent we had been sleeping in. A trip into town for rations and movies from Blockbuster led to two days of rest while we waited for the storms to pass.
