Journey Westward along the North Coast

Our journey away from the East Coast led us along the north of Tasmania. We passed through Scottsdale which had a terrific park full of bridges, ducks, frogs and a small walk though a rainforest. It certainly had to have been been a labour of love of its townsfolk to create such a nice setting. Tummies full after lunch finishing the gourmet bacon from Salemanca markets and onto Lillydale which is situated just West of Launceston.

We arrived in good time, set up quickly and had our evening drinks out within an hour with our new camping friends: John & Linda, Chris & Lenna. The ladies were real pyros and could start a great blaze to keep the entire Ralh clan warm. We shared their fire and talked till late... it must have been at least 7pm!
