Melbourne

We looked at a couple of campgrounds in Melbourne. The first, the location I won't give away, was a little scary, with people working there who couldn't speak English too well, and a campground that looked like it was a homeless shelter. We left quickly.

At the next, we were on safer ground and stayed at a spacious Camp 4 site.

We had a quick dash around Melbourne for a couple of days, showing the kids where I work and catching up with friends. We had drinks with Kris and Sophie and cooked an Indian feast with George, Megan, Zach & Solly. We visited the Melbourne Museum, walked around the alleyways looking at graffiti art, had great coffee and great pies!

Adam had the best day ever. He caught up with one of his best friends for the day, Riley, who had moved to Melbourne two years before. They walked along at the back of our pack all day, talking and laughing.
